While Hindu festivals comprise Diwali, Bhai Duj, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Diwasa, gokul Ashtami, and Navratri, the Muslim festivals comprise Id-ul-fitr, Id-ul-Zuha, Moharram, Id-e-Milad-un-Nabi. Christians celebrate Christmas, New Year, Carnival, Feast of St. Francis Xavier, Feast of Immaculate conception, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter; and the Parsees have their Parsi New Year celebrations. |
