One place to relax amidstre- freshing greenery, and away from the pollution and stress of a city, is Khirsu. Khirsu has an altitude of 1700 m, and the vegetation includes deodar and oak forests, in addition to apple orchards.

ACCESS EXCURSIONS Pauri, 19 km distant at an elevation of 1814 metres provides a stunning view of the Himalayan peaks Sumera, Nilkanth, Haathiparbat and Trishul, among others. Dewalgarh is about 20 km from Khirsu, and is famous for the temples of goddess Raj Rajeshwari.
